Southwest Baptist University graduated 151 students at two winter 2019 commencement ceremonies in the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center on the Bolivar campus.

The Chamber Singers of Southwest Baptist University will present the traditional "Ye Olde Madrigal Dinners" at 6:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Dec. 5-6, in the McClelland Dining Facility on the Bolivar campus.
The Southwest Baptist University Department of Music's Wind Symphony will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Southwest Baptist University's Tim Chappell, assistant professor of mathematics, recently presented at the 2019 MOMATYC spring conference in Kansas City, Mo.
Southwest Baptist University will host the annual Homecoming parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 19. Local businesses and organizations are invited to have a float in the parade.

The Barnett-Padgett Literary Artist Series of Southwest Baptist University will be presenting award-winning poet Dr. Jill Pelaez Baumgaertner in a reading of her works at 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

The SBU Community Concert Series welcomes pianist Dr. Joshua Pifer as he presents a concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus of Southwest Baptist University.
