Joseph Wilson, a rising senior chemistry major and Gordon and Judy Dutile Honors Scholar at Southwest Baptist University, is one of 14 college students to be selected to participate in the 2020 Wheaton College Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts Symposium, which will be held virtually on May 26-30.

SBU learned on Friday evening, February 21, a newly elected trustee may have mishandled child sexual abuse allegations against one of his staff members in 2005. This case resulted in multiple criminal convictions of the staff member.

Southwest Baptist University Athletics inducted the Class of 2020 into its Hall of Fame during ceremonies in conjunction with the men's and women's basketball doubleheader with the University of Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday, Jan. 11.
