Southwest Baptist University alumni and friends will celebrate Homecoming on Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1 on the Bolivar campus.
The Southwest Baptist University Speaking Bearcats kicked off the second half of the 2018-2019 season at the 21st Scott Jensen Gorlok Gala Tournament on Jan. 25-27, hosted by Webster University in St. Louis.
Southwest Baptist University's Bolivar campus will host a reception on Thursday, April 4 for the naming of the Don and Carrie Babb Department of Nursing and dedication of the training facility in the Jester Learning and Performance Center.

Southwest Baptist University will host the SBU Student Show and Competition art exhibition Tuesday, March 29 through Friday, April 8. The show features pieces submitted by students across campus in mediums including drawing, painting, fibers, graphic art, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking and photography.
John A. Bryant '61 of Bolivar, and Charles E. Clemmons, Jr.,'59 of Seabrook, Texas, will receive honorary doctorates from Southwest Baptist University during the annual Founders' Day chapel service at 10 a.m. Monday, March 6, in Pike Auditorium.

Southwest Baptist University's Casebolt College of Music, Arts, and Letters will present "The Casebolt Project - A Fine Arts Program" at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, in Meyer Recital Hall.
Southwest Baptist University welcomes students, staff and the community to fall semester Chapel services, which take place weekly at 10 a.m. on campus in Pike Auditorium beginning Monday, Aug. 21 through Wednesday, Dec. 6. Southwest Baptist University's Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization had eight students qualify for the PBL Nationals on June 23-26 in Baltimore, Md., following an impressive showing at the PBL State Leadership Competition on April 7 in Springfield.
