Robbie Bryant, MEP maintenance supervisor, and his wife, Dr. Julie Bryant, associate professor of education, received the Staff and Faculty Life Beautiful Awards during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 6 at Southwest Baptist University.

The Southwest Baptist University Jazz Ensemble will be featured in its spring concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 26, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

In honor of Judy Taylor and her significant influence to the Southwest Baptist University community, the university is closing at noon Wednesday, March 30, so that employees and students can attend Mrs. Taylor's celebration of life service. She is the wife of SBU's President, Dr. C. Pat Taylor.

Southwest Baptist University will begin offering master's level courses in Educational Administration on Oct. 18 on the university's Springfield campus at 1265 E. Lark St.
Dr. Taylor issues a statement to the SBU campus community at the beginning of the new school year in light of the current events happening in our nation.
