SBU Theatre to debut "Servant of Two Masters" play

The Southwest Baptist University Theatre program concludes its 2015-2016 season with "The Servant of Two Masters," written in the 1700s by Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni and translated and adapted by Jeffery Hatcher and Paolo Emilio Landi. The show will be presented at 7 p.m. April 21-23 in Davis-Newport Theater on the SBU campus.

Two SBU students to be crowned Mr. and Miss Southwest

Southwest Baptist University continues the tradition of honoring one male and one female student each year at the annual Mr. and Miss Southwest Pageant, which takes place this year at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, in Pike Auditorium on the SBU campus.

Flint receives SBU Library award

Southwest Baptist University student Leo Flint, of Bolivar, was honored by the SBU University Libraries as the Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for November 2016.

Bedell, Rehm selected to attend Governor's Student Leadership Forum

Southwest Baptist University's Chance Bedell and Slate Rehm were two of 80 college students nominated to represent their schools during the 32nd annual Missouri Governor's Student Leadership Forum on Faith and Values on Jan 9-11, 2019.

SBU PBL takes eight top-10 awards at nationals

Southwest Baptist University's Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization had nine students compete at the PBL National Leadership Conference on June 24-27 in Anaheim, Calif., and brought home eight top-10 finishes.

SBU's DeClue to be published in computing journal

Southwest Baptist University's Dr. Tim DeClue, chair of the department of computer and information sciences, recently collaborated with Maranda Provance, director of engineering at Mostly Serious Software, on a paper that will be published this spring.
