Homeschool Health Fair returns to Springfield on April 28

Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences of Southwest Baptist University is hosting the annual Homeschool Health and Science Exploration Fair from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 28, at the College in Springfield.

SBU music welcomes guest artist from China

The Southwest Baptist University Department of Music will host guest artist Yuan Yuan Jiang at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 29, in the Meyer Recital Hall of the Casebolt Music Building on the Bolivar campus.

SBU opens theatre season with "Wit"

The Southwest Baptist University Theatre program opens the 2018-2019 season with "Wit," a play written by Margaret Edson and directed by SBU senior Bethany Vermillion. The show will be presented at 7 p.m. Sept. 27-29 in the Davis-Newport Theater on the Bolivar campus.

SBU Wind Symphony, Percussion Ensemble in concert

Langford recognized with Honors Program brunch

Dr. Allison Langford, associate provost for teaching and learning at Southwest Baptist University, recently was honored with a brunch recognizing her immeasurable contribution to the Gordon and Judy Dutile Honors Program at SBU.

SBU CIS students design mobile app for Missouri State Fair

Four Southwest Baptist University Computer and Information Sciences students met with Missouri Lt. Gov. Mike Parson on Feb. 23 to present their design of a mobile application that will be used by fairgoers at the 2017 Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.
