SBU to hold dedication ceremony for Randolph Chapel renovation

Southwest Baptist University will host a dedication for the renovated Lloyd & Frances Randolph Meditation Chapel and Clement Amphitheatre & Prayer Garden from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9 on the Bolivar campus, with the dedication ceremony at 5:30 p.m.

SBU adds biochemistry and forensic chemistry degrees

Southwest Baptist University will offer two new chemistry majors starting with the Fall 2019 semester. Bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and forensic chemistry provide more options for students.

SBU announces Homecoming queen and king candidates for 2019

Southwest Baptist University students have nominated five seniors as candidates for Homecoming Queen and five candidates for Homecoming King. These candidates have been selected by their peers, and the winning King and Queen will be announced at the Homecoming football game at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19.

SBU to install Bailey as Miller accounting chair

Sharla Bailey, assistant professor of accounting at Southwest Baptist University, will be installed as the Lenore Miller Accounting Chair during SBU's academic chair installation ceremony at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 in Rohrs Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

SBU Homecoming little sisters, little brothers selected

Southwest Baptist University has selected the "little sisters" and "little brothers" for Homecoming 2019. Each child will escort a king and queen or prince and princess candidate during the Homecoming parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 19. The "little sisters" and "little brothers" are grandchildren or children of SBU employees.
