The SBU Community Concert Series welcomes pianist Dr. Joshua Pifer as he presents a concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus of Southwest Baptist University.

Southwest Baptist University's Department of Education recently hosted its first SBU Literature Bowl for fourth- through sixth-grade readers in the Goodson Student Union and Gott Education Building on the Bolivar campus.

Southwest Baptist University's Center for Global Connections formally commissioned 14 mission teams, as well as an Intercultural Studies major, during Chapel service on Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Southwest Baptist University honored employees with employment anniversary milestones, beginning with five years, during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 3. The employees recognized have given a total of 680 years of service to SBU.
