Spiritual life is foundational to the Southwest Baptist University experience, and that faith focus takes shape across campus, whether you are in the classroom, on the football field, in the residence halls, or in the offices of our faculty and staff.
No matter your interests or strengths, you will find abundant opportunities to grow spiritually and serve the Kingdom during your time at SBU.
Community Life + Worship (CLW) is one of the primary programs fostering spiritual growth on campus. The program encourages you to take advantage of faith- and community-building opportunities like Chapel services, off-campus service projects, and small groups led by students, faculty, coaches and other staff.
Serve the Kingdom across the globe through the Center for Global Connections (CGC), one of the largest short-term volunteer programs of any university in the United States.
Long before your project team departs, you will be mentored, trained and encouraged by CGC staff, and your teammates and team leaders will pray for you and support you along the way. Projects may include everything from disaster relief to teaching English to working with immigrants.
